How to Delete Your DriveLess Account

Before You Delete Your Account
⚠️ Warning: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data including saved routes, favorites, and preferences will be permanently deleted.
Method 1: Delete Account from the App
Step 1: Open the DriveLess app
Step 2: Go to Settings (tap the profile icon or menu)
Step 3: Scroll down to "Account Management"
Step 4: Tap "Delete Account"
Step 5: Read the warning and confirm deletion
Step 6: Enter your password to confirm
Step 7: Tap "Permanently Delete My Account"
Method 2: Request Account Deletion via Email
If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to support@driveless.app
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the email address associated with your account
- We will process your request within 7 business days
- You'll receive a confirmation email once your account is deleted
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account credentials and profile information
- All saved routes and favorite locations
- Route calculation history stored in the cloud
- Preferences and settings
- Any personalized data
What Remains
Some data may be retained for legal or operational purposes:
- Anonymized usage statistics (no personally identifiable information)
- Records required by law or regulation (up to 90 days)
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Deleting your account does not remove data stored locally on your device. To completely remove all DriveLess data:
- Delete your account using one of the methods above
- Uninstall the DriveLess app from your device
